The Finnish Defence Forces have implemented a new patient information system delivered by Mediconsult.
The system covers the core functions of primary healthcare, including outpatient care, occupational health services, and oral healthcare. It provides a unified solution for use across Defence Forces health stations, serving both conscripts and occupational health clients.
Mediconsult was awarded the contract for the Defence Forces’ patient information system in 2023 following a competitive tendering process. The total value of the procurement is EUR 12.3 million, and the agreement remains in force until 31 December 2029.
